Guadalajara, Jalisco – September 3, 2010
Due to new Federal Government regulations regarding the use of U.S. Dollars (cash), as of September 11, 2010, Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico will no longer accept U.S. Dollars (cash) for parking services, aeronautical operations and Executive Aircraft services at its airports. In addition, the airports will continue to receive payments in local currency (Mexican Pesos) and via credit card as has regularly been the case.
On June 16, 2010 the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit published an update to the General Rules, which refers to Article 115 of the Credit Institutions Law, modifying in limited practice dollar transactions in cash.

For the second consecutive year, Expansión magazine recognized Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico as a “Súper Empresa 2010: Places where everyone wants to work”. The award was received by Mr. Jorge Luis Valdespino, GAP’s Director of Human Resources, at a ceremony held May 20, 2010 in Mexico City.
GAP placed 32nd out of a universe of 510 Mexican organizations and businesses with more than 500 employees to form part of the 2010 Super Empresas group.
